v        Where is SuperChef made?

The MaxiKA SuperChef body and parts are made in Spain, the motor is made in Japan, and the unit is assembled in China.  The SuperChef is of Spanish Design. 

v         What is the warranty on SuperChef?

        SuperChef carries a 2 year Warranty.

v         Who do we contact for faults/replacement?

        All Warranty & Service issues will be dealt with directly by Maxi Kitchen Appliances.

v           Will the bowl burn?

           Like any stainless steel cooking pot, you will experience browning on the base of the bowl. This is normal, however if you are experiencing severe burning you         may need to reduce the cooking temperature or cooking time. If the burning persists please contact Maxi Kitchen Appliances.

                                                         

v           How can I clean my bowl?

            Cleaning the base of the SuperChef  bowl can be achieved by washing with warm soapy water and a scrub brush. For more stubborn browning, pour some white vinegar into the SuperChef  bowl and allow to soak for a couple of hours. This will aid in the cleaning process. Removing the blade will also provide easier access for cleaning.

 

v          Can you sharpen the blades?

The blades of the SuperChef are made of a high quality stainless steel.  As such, they do not need to be sharpened.

v            There is liquid leaking from my jug, is that normal?

             Black grease leaking:

              If there is a black grease on the blades or leaking from the bowl, it is simply peanut oil and not harmful. To remove this excess place 1-1.5 litres of water in the   bowl and wash for 10 minutes, Temperature 100°C, Speed 3.

 

v             Ingredients leaking: 

              In the case of liquid ingredients leaking through the base of your jug, remove the ingredients, turn the jug over, and find the lever which is used to loosen or tighten the jug blade.  Move the lever to the correct position to ensure your blade is in securely. 

 

v            Can SuperChef mince meat?

        Mincing meat in SuperChef  is possible and will produce a good quality minced meat. However it will not produce the same texture as a Mincer.

v             What is the capacity of the SuperChef Bowl?

        The SuperChef bowl has a 2 litre capacity.

v             Can I use my favourite recipes in a SuperChef?

         Yes, your favourite recipes, and recipes you find online can be easily adapted, once you are familiar with SuperChef's functions..  We encourage you to experiment with the basic functions of your SuperChef to gain an understanding its capabilities, following which you can convert recipes and enjoy the versatility of the SuperChef.

Does SuperChef have a reverse function?   

No.  You can use the mixing tool attachment to make it easier to process both soft and hard foods.
